JOSETA upgraded to OJS 3
We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Socio-Economics on Tropical Agriculture (JOSETA) has successfully completed the migration from Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2 to version 3.3.
This upgrade brings significant improvements in functionality, security, and user experience. However, it has also introduced changes to the article submission workflow, requiring both contributors and editors to adapt to the new system. During the transition, we conducted thorough testing to ensure previously published articles remain accessible. All PDF files are functioning properly, although we did encounter formatting issues—specifically, the appearance of unusual characters in abstracts and reference sections of some older articles.
We are currently addressing these issues and continuing to fine-tune the upgraded system. This includes redesigning the JOSETA website interface, restoring missing navigation elements, and resolving any residual technical problems that emerged during the upgrade process.
While the journal’s publication workflow is now operational, we would like to inform our authors and readers that there may be a slight delay in the release of the April 2025 edition as we finalize these adjustments. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this transition period.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work to improve your experience with JOSETA.
Sincerely,
Editorial Team
Journal of Socio-Economics on Tropical Agriculture (JOSETA)
