Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program AUTP di Kecamatan Pauh dan mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi petani dalam mengambil keputusan menjadi peserta asuransi usahatani padi di Kecamatan Pauh. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 26 Juli – 26 Agustus 2019. Data yang digunakan dalam  penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang menggunakan kuisioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh atau sensus. Analisis data untuk tujuan pertama dengan deskriptif kualitatif, untuk tujuan kedua dianalisis dengan analisis regresi logistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 21. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa petani yang mengikuti AUTP umumnya adalah petani yang sebagian besar telah menempuh pendidikan hingga tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas dan mengusahakan lahan yang berstatus milik sendiri. Keputusan petani dalam mengikuti AUTP dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan dan status kepemilikan lahan. Sedangkan umur, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, penerimaan usahatani, ukuran usahatani dan pengalaman berusahatani tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the AUTP program in Pauh District and determine the factors that influence farmers in making decisions to become participants of rice farming insurance in Pauh District. This research was conducted on July 26 to August 26 2019. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method used is a survey method that uses a questionnaire as an instrument of data collection. The sampling method used is saturated or census sampling. Analysis of data for the first objective with qualitative descriptive, for the second purpose analyzed by logistic regression analysis using the SPSS 21 application. The results of the analysis show that farmers who take part in the AUTP are generally farmers who have mostly been educated up to senior high school level and are seeking land that belongs to alone. Farmers' decisions in joining AUTP are influenced by education and land ownership status. While age, number of family dependents, farm receipts, farm size and experience of farming have no significant effect.
