Komunikasi Pembangunan Partisipatif Pada Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Papua

Program pemberdayaan masyarakat di Papua akan berlangsung dengan baik manakala dalam pelaksaannya didukung oleh partisipasi masyarakat secara aktif, dimana masyarakat sebagai pelaksana sekaligus penikmat dari hasil-hasil pembangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauhmana partisipasi masyarakat dalam program pemberdayaan melalui komunikasi yang efektif dan bersinergi dengan pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Jayapura dan Kabupaten Jayapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat komunikasi partiispatif dari analisis SEM menunjukkan nilai koefisien pengaruh positif dengan angka standarized loading factor sebesar 0,20. Artinya bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat komunikasi partisipatif akan semakin meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam memberdayakan dirinya.
