Analisis Usahatani Ubi Jalar Manohara (Ipomoea Batatas L. var Manohara) di Nagari Koto Tinggi Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kultur teknis ubi jalar manohara serta menganalisa pendapatan dan keuntungan petani ubi jalar manohara di Nagari Koto Tinggi Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tujuan pertama menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat beberapa kegiatan budidaya petani yang belum sesuai dengan anjuran literatur seperti tinggi bedengan, tidak menyimpan bibit sebelum ditanam, kegiatan pemupukan yang hanya sekali dilakukan dengan dosis dan jenis pupuk yang tidak sesuai literatur. Hasil penelitian kedua menunjukkan rata-rata pendapatan yang didapat petani yaitu Rp. 81.432.796,06/Ha dan Rp. 10.958.625,00/luas lahan. Sedangkan rata-rata keuntungan yang didapat yaitu Rp. 53.806.237,06/ha dan Rp. 7.267.514,72/luas lahan. Disarankan kepada petani untuk dapat lebih memperhatikan proses budidaya yang dilakukan agar sesuai literatur sehingga diperoleh hasil optimal. Diharapkan kepada penyuluh untuk dapat mendampingi dan memberikan penyuluhan agar meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membantu petani mendapatkan sarana produksi yang lebih baik.
