Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Tanaman Karet Rakyat di Kecamatan Karang Dapo Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara Provinsi Sumatera Selatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Karang Dapo Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan mendeskripsikan profil perkebunan karet rakyat serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi tanaman karet rakyat. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei pada 100 petani sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk tujuan pertama, dan analisis kuantitatif regresi non linear, fungsi Cobb-Douglas untuk tujuan ke dua.  Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa teknik budidaya karet rakyat di Kecamatan Karang Dapo, pada kegiatan penanaman, penyulaman, pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman, panen dan pasca panen sudah sesuai dengan pedoman dari Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan, namun pada kegiatan frekuensi penyiangan dan dosis pemupukan belum sesuai dengan anjuran. Selain itu penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  penggunaan bibit, tenaga kerja, penggunaan pupuk Urea berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi karet di Kecamatan Karang Dapo, sedangkan penggunaan pupuk TSP dan pupuk KCL tidak berpengaruh terhadap produksi karet di Kecamatan Karang Dapo.
